Position, Size, Density, Pitch, Pitch Jitter, Spray, Spread — plus a dedicated ADSR envelope, four window shapes (Hanning, Gaussian, Triangle, Trapezoid), Freeze, and reverse playback. Up to 128 grains at once. Switch between Linear and Granular on the fly.

Up to 60 seconds from your mic. Scale Lock pitches your source into any root (C–B) and scale (Maj, Min, Penta, Dor, Phr, Chrom) — perfectly in tune before it hits a pad.
16, 32, or 64 steps with per-step velocity, painted by dragging. Eight patterns per project (A–H), switched live — the change waits for the bar end so the groove never stumbles. Chain them into a song with per-section repeats. Song Mode is Pro.
A per-pad LFO and ADSR envelope, each routable to eight destinations — grain position, size, pitch, density, plus volume, pan, pitch, and playback start. Six LFO waveforms, host-sync or free-Hz.
Slice a long sample straight across the pads — equal divisions, transient-aligned, or manually placed markers.
Name any pad inline and pick from an eight-color chip row — keep your kit organized at a glance.
Run GranSample inside any AUv3 host — Logic, GarageBand, AUM, Drambo, Loopy Pro. Load your own samples without leaving the host, automate per-pad parameters, lock the sequencer to host transport. Everything persists in the host project.
The app and the plugin share their samples. Anything you record or import on one side is already there on the other — nothing to move, nothing to re-import.
Switch a pad to granular and the display fills with its grain cloud — each grain drawn where it reads from the sample, placed across the stereo field, fading with its own window.
USB, Bluetooth, or virtual. Velocity-sensitive pad triggering with per-pad note mapping, and MIDI Learn on any on-screen knob. In a host, the plugin takes MIDI in and sends pad taps back out.
Export a whole kit — samples, granular settings, effects, patterns — as one .gskit file and send it anywhere. Importing is free for everyone; exporting is Pro.
A wallpaper or your own photo behind the pads, with dim and pad-opacity faders so the grid stays readable.
