Why does GranSample need microphone access?
The mic is used only when you record a custom sample. You can deny access and still use all other features with factory samples or imported audio.
What audio formats can I import?
WAV, AIFF, M4A, MP3, CAF, and any other format supported by iOS Core Audio.
Can I export my performances?
Yes. Hit the REC button to capture your session, then export as WAV or M4A via the share sheet.
How many effects can I use per pad?
Up to 8 per pad, plus 8 on the master bus. All effects can be reordered freely.
Does GranSample support MIDI?
Yes. Trigger pads from any external MIDI controller with velocity sensitivity and per-pad note mapping. Chromatic mode fans one sample across all 16 pads at semitone pitches.
Does it work as an AUv3 plugin?
Yes. Run GranSample inside any AUv3 host — Logic, AUM, GarageBand — with per-pad parameter automation from the host.
