GranSample Pro
What Pro unlocks and how to purchase or restore it.
GranSample is free to use with the first four pads and the full granular engine. GranSample Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the rest of the instrument — all sixteen pads, the modulation matrix, sample chopping, kit sharing, and audio export.

The free pads ship with the factory drum sounds (Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat, Sub Bass). Loading a kit or .gskit that uses pads 5-16 still works, but those pads stay silent and locked until you unlock Pro.
A note on the modulation features
The LFO, the modulation envelope, and the Musical Granular controls (scale-lock, per-grain jitter, and grain trigger probability) appear in the pad’s editor with a Pro “peek-through” overlay so you can see what they do before unlocking. How to unlock
GranSample Pro is a single non-consumable in-app purchase — you pay once and own it permanently. It is not a subscription.
You can open the Unlock screen from anywhere a Pro feature is gated:
- Tap a locked pad (pads 5-16) in the pad grid.
- Tap CHOP in the Sample Editor without Pro.
- Tap a Pro overlay on the LFO, modulation envelope, or Musical Granular controls.
- Choose Share Kit… in the Library or export from the recorder bar without Pro.
The Unlock screen shows the current price and an Unlock button. The live price is set in the App Store and shown on that screen, so always check the in-app Unlock screen for the current price in your region.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the app, switch devices, or already bought Pro on another device signed in with the same Apple Account, open the Unlock screen and tap Restore Purchase. GranSample re-checks your App Store entitlements and re-enables Pro automatically — there is no extra charge.
If the Unlock screen shows “Couldn’t load pricing from the App Store,” tap Retry; this usually happens on a flaky network or briefly after a price change while the App Store propagates the update.
